Why? Because you touch yourself at night.

First off - Harry Potter people need to head over to pushdragon's place and read her reaction to the naked Daniel Radcliffe Equus photos - That Page-Three Man for it is brilliant much like pushdragon is.

Second - I'm trying to clean out my inbox before it gets so out of control I have to put it down with a shotgun and one of the things I found buried was a note to myself to do that damn six random things about you meme that plumforgot tagged me for way back sometime in the dark ages. Since that kind of thing nags at me, ya'll get to find out Six Random Things About Ashley . .

1) When I was in fifth grade I went through this weird eraser obsession. I collected them and when I would find one I'd never seen my whole week would be made. My favorite was this aqua colored one that said 'Rub Away' on it and I carried it around with me everywhere. It was my fidget thing and I used to love to rub it against my cheek when I was alone and pretend that it was Moses’ hand from The Ten Commandments and act out these epic love scenes. It was one smooth eraser what can I say. I still have it in my special box of shit that I can't throw away.

2) For a long time gray was my favorite color and I desperately wished that I had gray eyes. It was destiny that I love Draco!

3) Cilantro is delicious and I can eat it on almost anything - on pizza, in sandwiches, by the handfuls in tacos, on apples. Yum, yum.

4) Getting a haircut is one of my least favorite things in life because of the stupid sheet thing they make you wear and how tight it is on your neck. I CAN NOT STAND IT. I have to dig my nails into my palms to keep myself from physically freaking out.

5) For an embarrassingly long time, I walked around with LWD scribbled by the base of my thumb every day. LWD standing for Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio. For years.

It was destiny that I find fandom.

6) My favorite place to walk is on the train tracks by my house which you know, safe.

I'm supposed to tag somebody but I think everybody's already done it. I would tag ethrosdemon but she hates memes. superduckling you should do it just so I can see if there's something you can surprise me with. Oh and undula because I'm curious.

Now. How about some random music.

Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan - I'm going through a really bad Supernatural thing right now where I can't get it out of my head and I'm insatiable and WTF? Just what I need! This was the song playing at the end of last week's episode - Houses of Holy. I'm madly in love with it and again the hell? I don't like Bob Dylan and I'm not fannish about Supernatural. You hear that self? YOU AREN'T FANNISH ABOUT SUPERNATURAL SO GET OVER IT.

Holy balls I need to get a grip. I'm going to wear the song out with how many times I've listened to it just while writing this entry! I'm going to wear other things out with all the Oh Jesus Christ Sammy thoughts that come with it.

Might as well get all of the Supernatural related songs out of the way in one swoop -

Laugh I Nearly Died - The Rolling Stones - I was re-watching season one and this came on and hot damn! A Rolling Stones song I'd never heard before.

God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash - from the cool little black and white promo they played recently but I'd love this song even if it had nothing to do with Supernatural. It gives me a thrill right at the base of my spine and makes me think of swamps and dusty back roads and I can't get enough.

Moving on.

La Belle et le Bad Boy - MC Solaar - My sister Bill sent me this because she's a dork and amused by anything and everything once it's in a different language. Once in a while she's right and whatever it is is actually amusing and this song is one of those times. French rap! Can't say no to that. She tells me that it's a Beauty and the Beast thing with this good popular girl and and her relationship with the Bad Boy but it doesn't really matter because - French rap.

Mambo Gallego (D-Code Remix) - This is my new getting dressed song. It pumps me up. When I'm rich I'm going to have a marching band follow me around while I'm doing errands.

I Turn My Camera On - Spoon - The guitar and the vocals are kicking and it's been one of my favorite songs for months. 'I turn my feelings off, made me untouchable for life'.

Right Here, Right Now - Fatboy Slim - issyadore sent me this song I think because it was on Veronica Mars? Anyways, it's become one of the many songs that makes me think of Dick. Dick moving - soaring, doing his flippity flips and his splits, punching, kicking - all that grace and hot - and you know - Dick.

The Departed Tango - Howard Shore - So The Departed comes out on dvd next Tuesday (YAYE!!) and since it was by far my favorite movie I saw this year, it's a given that I listen to this song a lot.

Grace Cathedral Hill - The Decemberists - One of my cool down right before bed songs. I really couldn't tell you what it was about because I never actually get to listen to the lyrics. I get too caught up in how his voice and the melody make me feel. It sounds like this summer night with my dad and my sister in this little cafe with light purple walls on the beach with live music and potato soup and books lying around and hours of watching my dad and my sister playing chess.

Sumpin' New - Coolio - I completely forgot about this song and it was sad. Fortunately, someone posted it on audiography and '1, 2, 3, 4 GET YOUR WOMAN ON THE FLOOR!'

Random images of the day - real life Batsignal!

and Timmy and a bra because it will never stop being funny.

Last but not least, random "thoughts" on Smallville 'Trespass'

- Lex has sheer purple curtains! You know he didn't buy those for Lana. They were so already there.

- I noticed it a while ago - but is it Chloe or Lois that has the Clockwork Orange poster? Like many things on Smallville it makes me laugh because wow does it look out of place.

- I was so happy that Lana was snooping around in Clark's room because we hardly ever get to see it and then the friggin' power went out. FOR FOUR MINUTES. There was freaking out and yelling let me tell you. I missed that whole scene and I think she fell down the stairs! Stupid universe thinks it's funny.

- The creepy hospital and the bit with Lana running away from the bad guy in it made me burst out laughing and feel so damn tender towards my show. Yes, yes good job Smallville. You were so scary. I was in rapt suspense. *kisses its cheek*

- Lex has the worst security in the history of the universe! I hope they never change it.

- At some point when Lana was running around for her life, my sister turned towards me and said 'It's so weird but I totally don't want her to die' and I realized that I felt the same way and not sure exactly what that was about.

- What exactly does Clark do all day if his chores only take him two minutes? He's not out saving everybody and stopping earthquakes and reporting so what? Does he spend it brooding? Riding around on his horse Buttercup? Practicing his thinking face in the mirror? Surfing gay porn? He is such a mystery.

- When Clark caught Lana, man. How is it possible to not be in love with him for always? It isn't.

- And the best part was Lex referring to Clark as sweet pea. ALFJADSLKFJDALKSDJFLASKJFLSKLFK. That whole scene had me enthralled. Lex was such a giant bitch and Clark's 'Are we through yet?' - NEVER, CLARK. YOU WILL NEVER BE THROUGH WITH EACH OTHER. NEVER!!

ETA: mskatej has told me that Lex actually said 'RSVP' and not sweet pea which is not on the same level of awesome snark but still excellent. I'm standing my it as my favorite moment of the episode.

Supernatural 'Born Under a Bad Sign' -

- My sister Bill's been watching Spn again and we've been talking about it and it makes me so invested in Sam and Dean's pain, that my stomach fucking hurt at times during this episode and I felt like I couldn't fully look at them.

- What was super awesome was when my mom started yelling drunkenly at my dad about feeding the dog chicken bones right at the most emotional moment of the show. It made my triumph over talking my mom into letting my little brother and sister watch the show sour and that was some amazing arguing on my part which you would appreciate if you knew my mom. GOD. I will never drink.

- I feel that they are setting up a Dean/Jo romance for later on and no thank you.

- 'I saw your dad, he says howdy' - BEST PART.

- I finally fully get the whole Jared is terribly erotic thing. His hands when he was touching Jo. Shiiiiiiiiit.

This show keeps getting better and better and I don't want to get fannish! I'm not 'fannish' about any of the shows I watch except for Smallville and there's no room for disappointment with that one because well duh, bad since day zero. Supernatural has room to fall. Noooooooooo. I won't give in.
