All right, D. Since you were so vague about your suggestions for birthday gifts, this is what I came up with.

- A first edition copy of the first Harry Potter book (UK edition).
- A boxed set of all the Harry Potter books (hardcover).
- A replica HP wand with light-up tip.
- A big Baby Taylor guitar.
- A set of Kaws guitar picks.
- A leather guitar strap with his initials engraved on it.
- A gig bag.
- A capo.

I know you like Harry Potter, so I thought the books would be a nice choice. I don't know if the wand is completely cheesy and I just think it's cool because I'm weird, but I thought you could have some fun with it. Just promise not to cast any spells on me, huh?

And you've got everything you need to get on that road to becoming a great musician. You've got the skill and the talent -- you just needed the right equipment. I decided to go with the Big Baby Taylor because you can grow into it a little more than you can with the Baby. And you probably don't need the capo right away, but it's always a good tool to have.
