Alaina, I hope you take no offense at this, but I have to say something that I've been thinking for a long time. You're the only person from Roslyn High whose LiveJournal I still read, or in fact have ever read. I don't think you and I really ever knew each other that well, but for years, I have quietly wondered wether your prose is fiction, autobiographical, or some limbo inbetween. However, it recently dawned on me that it really doesn't matter where it comes from. I don't read all of your posts, but when I do, I am simultaneously delighted, mystified, confused and sometimes they make me kind of hungry. Please continue posting them regularly. Also, consider getting a non-LiveJournal blog; you would probably attract a strong following of readers.

there was nothing to be offended by, max. but yeah, it's all true. i don't write frequently because i have to wait for something to happen and then i have to wait for something else to happen to validate it or note some pattern. i probably work on them a lot harder than one would suspect, which is more of a compliment than anything else. i started a blogspot, but my cross-posts appeared so much longer that even i didn't want to read them. either way, thank you for taking the time to speak out in this kiiiiindly way. iiiiii appreciate it!
