Catching up on my movie watching
Watched a few movies the last couple of days, movies that I've wanted to see for a while but never have for some reason. First I watched When Harry Met Sally, that was a funny romancit comedy, Billy Crystal is a funny man. Then watched The Princess Bride, don't know why I never saw it before, good film. This morning I watched The Untouchables, such a great movie. It's about Al Capone and the men who bring him to justice, great acting and just a cool overall movie. This afternoon I wathced Equilibrium. I remember when this came out and I didn't know much about it, Dustin told me it was good but I never saw it. Then this guy from my film class told me it was great so I finally watched it and all I can say is...holy shit. That movie was crazy. I loved it. Some of the best action sequences ever. If you think the stuff in the Matrix is cool that was nothing compared to the stuff in this movie. The gun fights and hand to hand stuff was incredible, plus the story and acting were good, just a great movie.
Anyway, worked tonight for the first time since Sunday. Only for 4 hours so it wasn't bad, really went by pretty fast too, some days just drag on but this was ok. Got my schedule for next week. Working 8-4 on Black Friday, not too bad, also will be off work in time to watch the Florida-Florida State game on Saturday, I've missed the last 2 games due to work. I don't have to work Wednesday so I'll be able to go home Tuesday or Monday night and spend an extra day with the family. That is all.
