Shana? Ya.
Just poking my head in to say that I'm enjoying the anime series Shana so far. It's available for free viewing at Funimation's website (though only dubbed), but the voice acting is good so no worries.
The subject matter is interesting and I won't go into here because the show fairly beats you about the head with it in the first episode. I will say that it's part of what I'm starting to think of as magical boy anime: a regular guy (teen) thrust into a supernatural situation he's unprepared for but must ultimately accept. XXXHolic followed this pattern and Shana seems to be heading in a similar (though tonally darker) direction. I guess technically the first installment of the new Neon Genesis Evangelion thing Richard showed me (I've never watched any other NGE) falls under this genre as well, though more robotically. :)
