Holy crap, Internet.
I just finished Life of Pi. It was wonderful, literally full of wonder. So much beauty and pain, and the ending is amazing. It makes you rexamine everything and realize how we recreate our lives and ourselves out of anger, shame, love, and despair. Our fictions become our truths, when we need them to be. And if they can become our truths were they ever truly fictions? In the end who can say which is better? A truth that wounds or a healing dream?
