(no subject)
Just want to write about this while it is fresh in my braaiiinnn. Have to make it short, though. I am exhausted. Been up since five haha
anyway,
AX WAS SO AWESOME TODAY.
I spent pretty much an entire paycheck on DJs (pfffft hetalia. what else?), gifts for chris, and vocaloid stuff. I spent most time in the exhibitors hall, but attended Hetalia History, and Miku Miku Dance.
I got a SHIZZ TON (yes, a metric ton) of compliments and picture requests. Like last year and the year before combined... then quadrupled. So many people complimented me. Ah, god, makes me want to wear loli all the time. I feel like IRL, I may have a unique style and may be considered interesting/funny to those who know me well, but I am somewhat forgettable to strangers hahah I think I always come off as austere, or lacking a personality because of my shyness, but at conventions I kind of lose that fear of, "Hey, I look like a fucking freak!" or feeling like a new person is judging me because of my quiet awkwardness. We are all nerd. Together forever. Nothing to fear from them.
So yea, because of that welcome decrease in awkwardness, I met a lot of cool peopleeee :) And I ran in Cory, Britteny, and that loli-blogger Oli. YA, MAN. MAKING FRIENDS IS AWESOME.
I spent like most of the time alone, though. Which was actually pretty good. I felt liberated hahaha
I am the kind of person who generally cannot do things alone-- like i need backup for just existing.
But the entire day was spent on my own, and it was great! Tanya and Eric didn't have such a good time, but somehow, I feel today changed me? I feel happier with myself hahaha that sounds incredibly lame, but.... well, IT IS LAME/ WHATANERD.
