NYC and Washington DC Update

Well I am finally back from my incredible vacation. Oh my gosh is the only way I can describe my experience. Nothing this summer can top the trip that was filled with independence and culture. What made it even more realistic was the fact that I was staying in an apartment in the upper west side! Not just a dingy hotel, but an actual apartment in nyc! Crazy! But I spent my week, strolling the streets, browsing the millions stores, walking through the beautiful central park, located a block away from my place. Listening to the sounds of the musicians in the parks and even in the subway stations. Amazing, amazing! I even got to go see Rent on broadway, which was one of the best experiences. But the experience that gets my number one pick would be playing a $99,000 model "A" steinway for an hour in the Steinway & Sons Showroom in downtown NYC! Absolutley incredible, and all for free! Washington was just as much fun and Matty and I had the best time, talking, goofing around, and seeing the beautiful mountains of Virginia and NC. I love Matty so much! He's become such a wonderful park of my life, and I appreciate his friendship above all. Thanks for an incredible time.

So yesterday was my official "move in" date for the house that I am living in. I can't wait. I get the master bedroom, which totally kicks ass! My lovely Erin is going to help me move up some stuff on Tuesday and then I have until the 24th to completely get settled. I'm transferring my job which is an additional plus! I can't wait! I'm going to miss everyone a lot, especially Erin. She has become one of the greatest friends ever.

Well I am off to bed, lots to do tomorrow!
