Awesome Trip
Hey all of you Livejournalists! Hope everyone's doing well. Summer rocks doesn't it? Mine has been awesome so far. Miami was great. I had a blast. Seeing people was soooooo much fun. I'm really bummed that I didn't get to see everyone (mostly my Killian buds and Soraya). I really wanted to see everyone but I guess a week just isn't long enough especially since a lot of you were still in school for the majority of our trip. I'm really sorry though to all of you that I couldn't see. Thanks to everyone at WKBC that were sooooooooo incredibly sweet. I was really touched by your kindness. It made Hannah and I feel sooooo loved. It was just like the old days! Woo! But anyways, on Saturday I'm leaving for Charleston, SC at 4:30 in the morning. Sounds like fun, huh? I hope it will be though. It's not a trip to entertain us though; we're going to serve others and that is what is really going to meaningful I think. I'm excited to see what's gonna happen and to see how God's gonna work through us. Pray for us though cuz I think we're really gonna need it. Man I know I say this all the time but I LOVE MUSIC! I bought a couple new cds and I just loooove listening to them. I wish I could come up with some of these lyrics that all these bands put out. They're great man. Oh yeah we got a new intern youth leader for the summer which is sooooooooo gonna rock! I finally won't have to deal with Scott as much! YAY! He seriously is one of the big reasons I'm so sick of my church. But tonight I went and Meigan (our new intern) did the lesson and my friend Bryan Miller (super-hot-awesome-christian) led our worship. It was great. It actually felt like an entirely different youth group! It was soooooo radical man. I think that's what we need in our church; some really godly leaders that can really connect to us on a spiritual level. It was great. Hopefully it'll change the momentum and be a great blessing. Um...let's see. We came in 2nd in the State Tournament which was really awesome. It was fun and a good way to end the season. Next year we'll win it though. I guess that's about it.
