The Hotel/Conference center in Orlando wants $60/hour for stage hands. I honestly don't know how these people find the nerve.
Client told me how much the labor quote was and I was like "so you would be paying $45/hr for an audio engineer and $60/hr for stage hands." I shouldn't be surprised but I am certainly...impressed by their moxy.
Received my shipment of hardware this morning. I officially have rentable gear of my own. I have yet to turn out a drape panel with the new sewing machine, I have been busy getting kitten hickeys. Show is tomorrow.
