I would like to share something very special, this important time of year.
Merkel Attacks Mugabe at Lisbon From The Guardian, Tracey McVeigh offers up a report on the latest set of talks between the EU and, it looks like, most of the AU? Anyway, we are not here for serious political discussion, and neither are they! There is much grandstanding, and everyone unintentionally deludes Mugabe further, into thinking that it really is all about him. Someone invokes Godwin's Law, Baroness Amos is trotted out, a nation of Portugese cry. And, oh yeah, Qadhafi goes camping. YES.
Dude, I love summits. They are always the best circuses.
Yuletide story is progressing apace; I'm a little terrified, because my story is weirdly formal, but, so much fun. Well, fun for me. I hope it'll be fun for everyone else, as well. Maybe that is too much to hope for.
ETA, 1:24 pm, Dec 12th: Speaking of Yuletide, my fave feature of the season has arrived! That's right, Barney's Christmas Video! Yes, all 07:11 of honesty. YAAY. Best part? Someone* who should have a bias against Scotland saying, "It's always nice to see the Scots doing well."
