Odd
I've been in the weirdest mood today. And I mean that in a good way. As in, it was a weirdly good mood. And I couldn't sit still, for some reason. I was walking all around the spot that I hang out in at school, and I was standing and pacing the entire time I was on my cell with a friend.
I went to go see Shooter with the guys. It was a good movie. Not something I'd want to go and see a second time, but still good. Mark Wahlburg looks mighty fine all bloody and shootin shit up. There were lots of explosions, which also worked for me. It's one of those "huh?" things about me. In some ways I'm such a guy. I refuse to stop and ask for directions, I love a huge loud blowing up of stuff, pretty fast cars are hot as hell, as well as guns. Although, those last two could count as a chick thing. Oh! And football. If the Skins are on, fuck everything else. Unless they pissed me off the weekend before by their craptastic and totally preventable mistakes. WTF d00ds?! Alright, I won't get into my severe and unrelenting disappointment in my team *grumbles* But yah.
I also saw Pathfinder with a few of my girlfriends on Fri. Again, good movie, although I might be talked into seeing it again. I mean, come on. It's Karl Urban. With a sword. The plot wasn't half bad either. And Karl totally pulled off the fact that his character considered himself no longer a Viking. There was no question in my mind during the entire movie on where his loyalties lay. Spoilers:
I found it interesting when they had the native Americans fall into the trap Ghost made for the Vikings. I hadn't really seen that coming, although I should have. I kept waiting for them to kill Starfire in the caves when her stupid ass kept moving around instead of staying in one place. Despite that ( which did go with the plot but I still think that normally an intelligent person would be much more inclined to stay put and therefore lessen the rick of exposure) I'm glad they didn't. I will admit that I flinched when Pathfinder died. Such a nasty way to go *shudders* And I did a massive eyeroll when Starfire's wannabe boyfriend went after her. I believe my exact words were "Yah dumbass *le sigh*"
And now I have to go and work on a 5 page paper due next Thursday. Cause this one I HAVE to do. Bah. I can't wait for school to be over. Only, I'm taking summer courses, so XD
