After the hectic PV release days, back to the good ol' shows.
Perfume--a group made up of three 19-year-old girls, were the guests for VS Arashi this week. Usually that would annoy me, but they're not so bad. Okay, Arashi's reactions to them bring me amusement is all.
Making a point out of the age diff. Oh-chan is almost 10 years older (HE'S STILL 27, there's no need to point out that he'll be 28 in... November) we all know he's actually only 16 anyway!
But, what's totally awesome about these guests is that they have a certain way that they introduce themselves. And Arashi decides to do their own version of it!

Aiba get's to carry the basket on his head this time. Nino is the one who shouts out numbers.
things to note:
-Aiba's arms are skinny as hell, Baby needs to eat too. But he's always had those skinny arms. Look's good running, and of course, he's not as tiny under that big basket as Nino + Ohno were.
-Nino is... VERY VERY good at shouting out numbers, telling Aiba where to stand to catch the balls in the basket. Seriously, he has technique. I could listen to him do it all day. Instead of just saying the numbers, he gives encouragement/support at the same time, calmly making adjustments instead of urgently yelling. Just all around wonderful. Nino <3
-Aiba did very well, I think better than anyone so far? 240 points.
Nino, being all touchy feely + congratulatory with Aiba after Baby gets exhausted running. Neener also says something to the effect of "I'm good, aren't I?" when the other 3 comment on his number-calling-out skills ^^
Ohmiya bumps shoulders, kyaa! XD, srsly cute though
For the coin tower we have Jun and Ohno. The tower falls right before it gets to Jun... That seems to happen rather often...
Beginning. Ohno. Oh. No. Ohno. ahh.
it falls right in front of Jun, who has his hands positioned like that
Ohno mimicking Jun's "I certainly couldn't have touched it" movement. MAXIMUM amusing/cute <3
more laughing over the 'no-hands' Jun gesture/Ohno mimic
WIN AT THE TOWER!! YAY
seems like it's been a looong~ time since Nino was the 'catch' guy. He looks good up there today!
except for the part where he apparently feels sick... ?
Sho's repeated "Daijoubu ka???" is freakin' cute
moving around a lot, warming up doesn't he look HOT?
Aiba smile is so much love.
and Sho didn't have a chance to try for a pole catch because Arashi already won by the time it was his turn. (Oh Arashi, how much you have progressed since that 9 episode losing streak~~ I'm so proud! ^^)
But Sho actually wanted a chance to prove his pole catching prowess~~
So he does what any good chipmunk would do and imagines it into reality. YOSH! Sho-chan! GOOD JOB!!
Basically, that couch looks like the most comfortable thing ever. I want Arashi on that couch. please.

On a completely different theme, I'm uploading Namida o Fuite for someone right now--currently up to episode 3/11--and I'm planning on posting the megaupload links somewhere so that other Nino-obsessive fans can get at them.
I don't know why this series isn't already up at arashianfiles (as that's the ultimate source I have for Arashi-related old dramas and such), but I wish more people knew about it. The only problem is... It hasn't been subbed. In my opinion though, it's lovely even without translation and Nino is simply wonderful in it. (yes, at the tender age of 17 ^^)
Anyway, my main point is that I don't want to upload the whole series if it's already posted somewhere that I don't know about. Does anyone know if 'Namida o Fuite' has been uploaded to megaupload and posted on the Arashi comms before? Also, does anyone have any interest in seeing it? I'm uploading it no matter what, but it'd be nice to know if people here on LJ have any interest. ^^
Oh, and.... one last thing...
