There was a time in Mago Mago where everything seemed more authentic. I'm not saying I like the earlier episodes better, but they give off a different feeling for me. This episode, I really didn't see anything special in the grandparents, and I couldn't understand most of the story of why they were sad, but at the end when grandma cried and Nino played the guitar I was really really touched. It'll stay with me for a long time. Throughout, it was painfully sweet watching the interaction between Ohno + Nino and the grandparents, realizing that this was one of the first Mago Mago Arashi and none of the actions were practiced. Of course, the Ohmiya love made it even lovelier ^_^. here's some gifs

I think maybe I need a translation to understand why everyone is so emotional, but I rarely see so much sadness in Mago Mago. Don't know if it's because this is an early episode or what *getting teary looking at own gifs*
