David Cook is Your American Idol
I voted for David Cook two hours last night. First hour I couldn't get through on any of the lines, and I practically fell asleep with the cell phone at midnight, lol. I actually thought he did a great job last night. He seemed a bit fatalistic, though, seeming to think that Archie already won. I loved his cover of All I Know by Collective Soul, especially. He made the song BETTER. That's a star.
Look, Archie is a cutie indeed, but he is so overwhelmed by everything. He doesn't seem ready to face the stresses of being a popular recording artist just yet. His Dad is sure freaky-deaky, too. He'd just pressure Archie more than he already does. And would you want to buy a CD of just ballads? Would you go see an Archie concert in which he keeps his eyes closed the entire time, cries and gasps every now and then, and does his pitiful attempts at dance moves? Bleargh. He just ain't ready, folks. Yes, he's cute, but think about it.
