God's testing me.
Well, my brother got married Saturday in a beautiful ceremony on the shore of Lake Michigan. They lucked out so much; normally, late June in Michigan the temperature is somewhere around 90 and/or we have thunderstorms. They got 70 and sunny. I'm completely thrilled about the marriage, my new sister-in-law is a great girl, and I love her to death. Him too, of course. ^_^
My personal weekend wasn't that great, however. I was a bridesmaid, and we stayed at a bed and breakfast the night before the wedding so we'd all have a place to get ready. Well, I took my glasses off to get make-up on, and in the bustle, forgot them somewhere in that room. Of course, I didn't notice until we got to the beach (I can function without them as long as I'm not trying to drive or look long distances). I figured that they'd be okay until after pictures. My bad. The cleaning lady did something with them, they're gone now. If I didn't have prescription sunglasses, I wounldn't be driving to work. Now I need an eye exam, and pray the new pair gets done before the weekend.
Another thing we ran out of time for was to put on sunblock properly before we left. I've got a lovely red outline of the neckline, backline, and shoulder straps on me now. It's painful to even wear a bra, sleep, or shrug. Been that way for two days now.
This morning I woke up with a UTI. If you don't know what that is, be thankful. Had to run over to the walk-in clinic after work, where I sat for Two and a half hours. Without food. And I came home to dishes. Just painfully annoying icing on a crappy cake.
