Wow...it's been a while since I last updated. I blame school, as it's been crazy busy lately. I have my last final tomorrow morning and than I am OFFICIALLY done with college! Woot! :D
Yesterday I went to
The Great Dickens Christmas Faire with
fairegoddess . It was my first time attending the faire and I am so thankful that she invited me to go along with her. I had such a fun time! The event is held at the
Cow Palace in San Francisco and the faire is huge since they have such a large layout to work with. Seriously, you need more than on day to experience everything as there is so much to see. I hope to make it back there sometime next year.
There are so many people that make the transition from working Northern Faire to Dickens. It's so funny recognizing people and seeing them out of their usual Elizabethan garb and in Victorian dress instead. Speaking of clothes,
fairegoddess was so nice as to let me borrow one of her dresses for the day. I felt like a real life doll, it was great! She's an amazing costumer and it's incredible the amount of attention and detail she puts into her costumes. Check out some of the pictures from the day. :)
PAISLEY! I love it! :)
Stupid picture had to come out blurry. :( There's some better detail shots.
Wee little hat! :D
