Drabble: Friendship
How far would you go for a friend?
We’ve all done little things: walked them back to their room, gently reminded them of that paper they need to finish, let them cry on your shoulder when their world is falling apart around them. But that’s just a pop quiz; here’s the real test.
Would you lie for them? Be their alibi?
Would you help them cover up something horrible? No questions asked?
Would you kill for them? In a matter of life and death, would you protect them to your last breath?
And would they do the same for you?

I finished reading 'The Basic Eight' by Daniel Handler and these questions keep coming to my mind. The scary thing is that I don't know how I'd answer until I was actually put to the test.
