My favorite story this year: Whoa... hard choice. Either Thoughts Colored Ugly or Moon Magic. In Moon Magic, I really like the way Faith becomes the one trying to help someone else accept himself, and I just love Jayne struggling against his own needs in Thoughts Colored Ugly
My best story this year: I think Predatory Connections is the most in character, seconded by Proclivity. I don't think they're my *favorite* though. I really enjoyed Short Time.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Probably Cheering from the 50 Yard Line. This is an expanded version of With an X and a Y and an X, X, X and it really did not get much feedback from the people who won it. Okay, that's an understatement... only two people emailed me with feedback. Sadly, I think this might just be an honest reaction to mediocre writing.
Sexiest story: Thoughts Colored Ugly for het--and I did more het than normal this year. Flailing Through the Cliches for slash. I can honestly believe that these two are going to make it in the long run
Most fun story: Short Time. That so should have been crack, but it came out way more believable than I expected.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: I should say the Brian or Dexter pieces. I really don't see the characters the way I wrote them, but honestly, those are just OOC rather than shifting my perception of the characters. I really think Moon Magic wins this one. I really liked Riley being apple-pie good while having a darker edge, and I loved Faith and Snape dealing with each other.
Hardest story to write: Dark, Still Water. I started it because I was furious with Jim after watching season four, but I love Jim so much that I have trouble keeping it going.
Biggest surprise: Short Time.
Most unintentionally *telling* story: I have no idea... why don't you guys tell me?
A story I want remembered: Some of those kink stories, I want forgotten. Wow... I threw characterization out the window there, but I got my kinks in.
I really would like Thoughts Colored Ugly to be remembered. I've reread that one more than any of the others I wrote this year.
