I got it for Moonridge, but I think I actually like reading it in chapters better, it slows me down to think more about the story.

I'm thinking Jim's sentinel senses kicked in there and he didn't really notice it, too wrapped up in wrapping up Blair.

There are a lot of hints of Jim's senses, but part of it is that he always has been a Sentinel, so to some extend, that's *normal* for him. And the other thing is that all his sensory "hints" are related to Blair, and I think he's brushing it off as desire or imagination related to his lust. I agree, though, that there's no WAY a non-Sentinel could hear the heartbeat in that situation.

Blair is submissive because he gets something out of it. After all, Jim is more for the hard quick fuck, and yet Blair gets an entire night of teasing, so Jim is taking care of Blair's needs which exist separate from his own.

I'll put more out every day on this one since it's already written. I just hated having two big WIPS at their height, but I think CI is finally winding down. I can feel the end coming with it.
