This was the first movie I ever saw Alison Lohman in and I just fell in love with her. She's magical, whatever she's doing. This story is so gut-wrenching, but all of the women in that film are interesting, if somewhat downright horrific, characters. It makes me want to watch it all over again, just reading your encapsulation of it. Excellent choice.
I wish Alison Lohman was in more movies because I love her in everything I've ever seen her in. The way she transformed in each of the scenarios shows just how talented she is.
I loved, loved, loved this movie. Alison Lohman was fantastic... as was renee Zellweger, Robin Wright, Cole Hauser, Amy Aquino and Patrick Fugit. I know everyone remembers Michelle Pfeiffer, but I really feel like the other characters were just as much if not more important and the actors' portrayal of them was spot on.
I feel like Michelle Pfeiffer had the easiest job in this movie because she just really had to play the villain. I think Renee Zellweger was her best in this movie, and I don't even like Renee. And Patrick Fugit just needs to be in more movies.
