I've never read the book/seen the movie, because I really don't think I could stomach it, but that sounds amazingly kick-ass. Jena Malone has ten times the talent of many adult actors I could name.

I think you'd actually like it a lot. I mean, it can be a hard read, but it's also a real study in poverty, gender, orientation, and women in general.
