You want stuffed dolls made of yourself.

[But on a more important note!]

There was an ice skating rink last year?

Aye, yes please, stuffed dolls of myself! You know how to knit a poppet together, Mistress Ginia?

And aye again--the skating rink from last year was a thing of beauty. Delicate, shimmering, cold brittle beauty.

I'm afraid I don't, and even if I did, I wouldn't be any condition do sew things now. Perhaps you can ask Shiki?

Sounds like a nice thing. I wonder if the lake freezes enough to skate on?

Problematically, Shiki might refuse on account of it being a somewhat odd request.

And she might tell Buffy.

Don't tell Buffy.

[He clears his throat before continuing on:] You want to watch yourself on the lakes. Bits DO freeze up solid, but it's best to test it first.

I won't tell Buffy.

Yes, wouldn't do to fall into the water. I suppose the other downside is how long it takes to get to the lake. Well, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors. Maybe I'll be able to see this ice skating rink.

When the rink is complete, Mistress Ginia, you should drag your Rupert out for a date. Put him on skates and give him a bit of a shove and see how far you can manage to shuttle him along.

Maybe not shoving him on the ice, but it sounds like it'd be a nice date. I'm actually quite good at ice skating too.

You might tie a rope around his middle and haul him about. OH! I shall find him a wintry wig! One what will stream out behind him all dramaticlike.

I do like to treat Giles with more dignity than that.

It can be a very dignified wig, you know. I can make him wignified.

I do not doubt that at all. I was referring more to roping him and hauling him about.

Oh. Right. Of course. No roping, no dragging.

Actually that's for the best, as I'm not entirely fond of the picture that just popped in my head. You still blind, then?

[While she'll ponder that image just for a moment.]

Still blind, I'm afraid.
