On Monday, work was a lot busier than I had anticipated...not so much in the volume of people as the difficulty of the people. So damn demanding! There were at least two equally demanding people at a time. Both wanted my attention simultaneously and neither were willing to wait.So, to make the best of the situation, since I am only one person, I juggled them...going back and forth.
The last hour and a half was dead.I got the two kittens from the groomers next door since I have a key and the owner gave me permission to go in and bring the kittens into my store.
I am just in love with both of them. One looks just like my baby that died 3 years ago...orange with white on his chest and paws and the other one is all orange.
My sister came to visit and we took picture of the kittens on her camera phone.
I'd take them home in a heartbeat if it wasn't for my grandmother and aunt...unless you have space on your couch for me to sleep on after they kick me out...the four cats, of course, would be on my bed.
After work, I got a new cell phone.I got a case, car charger and blue tooth headset. I love the headset already because I'm the only person in America who will not talk on a cell phone while driving. I can answer and make calls by giving verbal commands at the touch of a button.
Yesterday, we had a BBQ and my parents came over.So glad I don't have to see them on a regular basis...but alas...the reason why I moved out at 14.
Today, I went with Beverly to the NY Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. It took us two hours on the LIE to get the the damn Whitestone bridge.However, we made it home from the Bronx in half an hour during rush hour traffic. So backwards.
We went to see the Chihuly exhibits. Chihuly is an artist who makes these awesome scultures that are all hand blown glass.GORGEOUS! I took a hundred pictures and filled up the memory in the phone's camera.The sculptures are all incorporated into different conservatories,gardens and reflecting pools.

I have work all day tomorrow=bleh. Last thing I want to do is be stuck in the store for 10 hours.
