(no subject)
I've been lax with updating. However, its a good thing because it means that I'm asleep instead of sitting online perpetuating my sleeplessness. The past 2 nights or so I've actually gone to bed at a reasonable hour(for me) and woke up feeling rested in the morning!How novel!
I've been working virtually everyday either at the store or at the office (job at school...have I mentioned that yet?)
Let's see...so my sister didn't go to her Sr. picnic...she decided to go to work instead. So I was supposed to go with her to her sr dinner on Monday but she didn't want to go. Well, she ended up going last minute. Oh well.
She and Maddie, et al ended up at some bar in Great Neck after. Apparently she was drunk and dancing on table tops in stillettos. She fell off the damn table and has a huge 6 inch plus bruise on her arm. I told her not to quit her day job. LOL.
So my new job at school is off to a slow start. I feel the need to research the places I will be calling for internship opportunities so I know something about them before I call them and requesting info. So far a definite taker is the Secret Service, although I have yet to contact them for further info. Much of the work is going to consist of me contacting agencies HR departments. I figure I'll start calling Monday.
Tuesday when I got into the office, I was pleasantly surprised to see Bryan. He was my lab assistant for forensic anthro a few semesters ago. He was actually leaving at the end of that semester because he was supposed to be graduating and going to do more field work.He's a really great guy. I have always liked him. Very funny and sexy in that earthy way. Needless to say, completing my lab hours, as well as extra hours were not a problem! :)
I got to see Hel yesterday and we exchanged birthday gifts!:) I'm glad I got to see her.
I haven't heard from George, nor have I had the cojones to confront him.
I'm booked for petsitting this Friday through July 2 for Nellie (Husky/Dobie Mix) and Bosco (elkenbucher mountain something hound)??can't remember the name),my boss' brood, Maggie (black lab), then Nellie and Bosco again. Ka ching!

I'm all sweaty and achey from busting my ass at the store today.I'm going to go take a hot shower and hopefully, perhaps, I can sleep sometime soon.
Tomorrow I have work at the store and am planning on redoing displays. ( I have to be in the mood to do it, otherwise...won't happen!)I have an idea for a patriotic themed display. We also got these rugby looking patterned collars in that I need to figure out what to do with, also.
