what if.....
Does anyone really remember livejournal anymore? I was thinking today.... what if someday everything that we put on the internet; livejournal, facebook, pictures, blogs, etc. just one day gets erased? What if down the road, something happens, or somebody changes the way we do internet and all of our history is gone? It's a scary thought.
So, I think the last time I updated was a looooong long time ago and again, I'm doing this for me and my own personal records. I can measure time in terms of pounds; when I last updated, Maddie was 40 pounds. She currently weighs close to 75 lbs, and we've since added 2 cats, 2 ducks, 2 humans and a partridge in a pear tree. Year 3 of school is almost over and Matt's pending bp status is in the final stages. Who knows where we will be. but that's another story for another time since only time is gonna tell on that one and its pretty much out of our control.
Steph and Tim have been living with us for about a month and not a day goes by when I don't love it! It's so much fun to have Steph back in the house and Tim cracks me up and has cool movies :) And when matt works long hours it's always nice to have company in the house. steph and i just got back from a dip in the pool. although brief due to steph's overactive fear of scary things, we did get a good 5 minutes of swimming in, which is more than both of us can vouche for in the past year.
lonnie has been the stereotypical obnoxious neighbor and we were visited by the cops tuesday night asking if were were having a party. at 11 on a tuesday night? yes, big party. woo hoo.
3 weeks ago my duckies, huey and baxter, hatched out and we were able to witness baxter kicking his way out. huey decided to do it in the privacy of the night. they're growing each day and follow me everywhere. I wish i had a big farm for them to run in and for maddie and ollie. you know, i said i would never have any animals, but every day we seem to gain more and more of them. someday we will have a nice house on tons of open, private land on which for them to roam. someday.
well, that's about all i'm willing to dedicate to this year's entry lol. it's very rare that i even remember livejournal exists and even more rare that i'm bored enough to update anything. but in the name of memories and looking back, here's to it.
