47 degrees and no headache
so... who really updates their lj anymore? this is sad to me. things are busy i guess. tomorrow is my last day of school for 5 whole weeks!!! loving this year round thing right now, by the way. this whole week has been a bust; basically just sticking tests in front of the kids face much to their dismay, and then the other half we spend celebrating the fact that we're done with the quarter. THANK the lord. i've been getting major headaches after school lately and i'm thinking that a little time away will be just what i need.
matt and i are headin' down to beaufort with cullen for xmas tomorrow. my plan is to sleep in the back the whole time so of course i'm looking forward to that. it's gonna be weird being away from home for xmas. i know its not gonna be easy for the familia; already they're given me the guilt trip but what can ya do. i hope we have a good time down at matt's family's though.. i have no doubt we wont.. but it will be extra hard knowing that i'm not home with everyone. the day after xmas, we're heading back cuz matt's gotta work at 5. lame. but on the 28th we get to stay at the zievis's beach house until the 2nd so we're very excited for our mini winter-beach vacation!!
matt gets out on his bday, which is the 4th, and its hard to believe that its going to be over after all this time. its a scary exciting thing. i dont think we're gonna know how to handle living together lol. we've waited soooo long for this. no more driving 2 1/2 hours there and back every weekend. amazing.
i'm going home on the 8th and hopefully matt will as well if he knows what's right for him. i'm not looking forward to the freezing cold, but i'm setting the goal of not saying "omg its freezing" every other sentence. i do plan on being inside the whole time though lol. as much as i'm dreading the cold, i'm really excited to see everyone and it would make me incredibly happy if matt were there with me to meet everyone. maybe he doesnt know how important that is to me.. so yeah. he's coming
the car is packed, the room is tidied, laundry's done. pj day tomorrow, movie in the afternoon; the countdown is coming to a close.
