happy halloween eve!!
dude. halloween is not cool anymore, well at least at our school. We can't even do anything for halloween which is so depressing cuz its such a fun holiday. poor kids want to do halloween stuff and i gotta teach boring lessons again. i tell ya, tracking out is great and all BEFORE it happens, but coming BACK from track out is the hardest thing ever. Its been 2 weeks and i'm STILL not back in the swing of things. im still trying to find my motivation that i had before track out, so if you see it, let me know. i'm slowly startin to get back into it. i kinda anticipated that though, especially with matt coming back and of course my priorities have changed and with this montessori thing now, i just need to get back into the swing of things. i'm not worried though. ithought i would really like the year round schedule, but as great as it is, i think i prefer the traditional schedule now. this is good since montessori is traditional calendar and thats the direction i'm heading in. yay!!
matt being back has obviously been amazing and not having to countdown to anything has definitely relieved any stress that we had before the deployment. he got to come home to raleigh for the first time friday to see our house and that was happy! tober fell in love with him and cuddled with him all weekend, so i've decided tober is a gay kitty, which is totally fine. saturday was our halloween celebration and we went as brit and kfed. got some baby dolls and put em in matt's pockets. i was amused and i have to admit he pulls off a pretty hot kfed. ;) also this weekend the big event was that i, liss, got drunk for the very first time ever. yes, its true. meggie made me a blue drink for me and it was good but i had one too many apparently. had a pretty good time at longbranch and we caught the end of the luke bryan concert but cut it short cuz i got a tad sick. yeah enough about that. i'd rather not relive that lol
sunday night was the jimmy eat world concert which was also awesome-o. our first triple date with meg, jeff, mari and phil. matt came to school monday and the kids loved him of course, last night i drove him back and stayed over night. drove back this morning in time for school and thats about it.
