chicken soup for lunch = 150 calories
dinner: small serving of pasta w/ tomato sauce + slice of garlic bread + salad w/ olive oil & balsamic vinegar = 442 calories
cup of peach mango frozen yogurt [non-fat!] for dessert = 200 calories
792 calories total. plus 60 sit-ups today. gotta get rid of this gut.

i made dinner tonight. and it was great. i realised that the vinegar thing does work. it really does decrease one's appetite. i cooked the tomato sauce for the pasta... i snuck in just a spoonful of vinegar into the whole pot [for 5 people]. just enough that i could taste it in there, but no one else really noticed. no one finished their plate except dad [who always finishes]. the salad had vinegar dressing on it; no one completely finished that, either.
i scooped the extra from everyone's plates, and there was enough for a whole 'nother meal. both pasta and salad. ridiculous!
i'm going to keep making dinner for this family. less work for mum to do, and it'll keep me busy as well. i'll start cooking enough portions for 4 people, so we can stop wasting so much. i'll continue to put vinegar into the food so we all fill up faster than we would normally. everyone could stand to lose a little weight.
especially me. obviously.
