(no subject)
I AM DONE WITH STATS.
AND THIS IS A GREAT STORY. Because a couple of weeks ago, I did the math (no pun), and found out that I was pretty much failing, lolol. Like I was concerned I'd have to drop it because there'd be no way I could not fail. BUT THEN, IDEK HOW IT HAPPENED (I started putting in a LITTLE bit of effort, I suspect) but I ended up with a D, took a test last night, and then calculated that I'd only need like 10/125 points on the final to get a C. And that is FINE with me. I don't care about grades really, I never really have, and this class especially, because I don't care about it and I don't need it to graduate. I took it because I thought it'd be "fun". Right. BUT YOU GUYS THAT'S NOT EVEN IT - I took the final today, it was SO much easier than I expected it to be SO I MIGHT EVEN GET A B. Like, this is the most drastic turn-around in my academic history. lol.
I has one final tomorrow (OPEN NOTES LOLLL) and THEN IT IS OVAR. Also! My Clay final went well, his study guide was SO helpful and I'm glad I looked at it. LOL @ Matt, though - he put his big geometric box between us "so I wouldn't be tempted to cheat~ lol" but I fucking knew everything and he struggled, lol. Irony. Laz was sitting across from me so I just handed it to him after like 10 minutes and he was so nice, he graded it right then for me. I only lost three points because I intentionally left a couple of things blank because I didn't know them. ALSO! HE IS THE BEST! I never did drawings for the projects because I suck at drawing and see my pieces in my head anyway, so when I turned stuff in, he asked where my drawings were and I told him what I pretty much just told you, and he was like, "Well, why aren't you doing them right now?" I told him I THOUGHT about it, about forging them, but then I didn't want to be that dishonest and whatever. He told me it wouldn't be dishonest, and said the point was just to get me to think about art, and that can come after projects, too, it doesn't get old. So I just made up some drawings and he gave me points. ♥ I am going to miss him loads. I don't get to say "motherfucker" in front of teachers very often.
I brought a box of my shit home. I'll spam you with ~art~ as soon as I bring the rest of it - I had no moar room, lol. So I have to go back next week to pick up stuff that's still being fired and then get the rest of it. I painted my little logic symbols for Donaho! I almost forgot about them! I only found them when I was cleaning out my locker. BUT YES, I will do an all-encompassing picspam of my ceramic endeavors sometime.
I went out to dinner with Mette last night, it was KIND OF traumatic because we ordered drinks and I went to show her my ID and I DIDN'T HAVE IT, and it's fine, I don't need to drink, but I hated it because she PROBABLY thought I was underage and just lying, hoping I wouldn't get carded. BUT I'M LEGAL, I SWEAR. Mette, however, only just turned 20. She has a fake ID that has always worked, so she just used it, whatever, EXCEPT OUR WAITRESS CAME BACK AND ASKED TO SEE IT THREE TIMES. So we were freaking. The third time, Mette was like, "You know, we'll probably just skip it because we want to go get hers, anyway." and the waitress was like, "Yeah.... because someone who works here said she went to school with you and that you're only 19 or 20, so..." We were like, wtf, who. And Mette was like, "Went to school WHERE?" and the waitress was like, "the host," obviously thinking she said WHO, but wtf. So we have no idea who it was. Like who would be an asshole like that. Also! Who even hates Mette?! Pretty much nobody, I don't think. Like if it was me, I'd totally get that because a lot of people hated me in high school (because I, heaven forbid, spoke up and didn't put out), but as far as I know, nobody hates Mette. WTF. Unless it was someone from middle school, which is what she's thinking. IDK. But we are never going there again. It was a win-win: I got to get my ID and we just went to Applebees and had BLUE FUCKING MARGARITAS WITH MALIBU RUM IN THEM IN ADDITION TO TEQUILA AND THEY ARE MY NEW FAVORITE THING. Caramel Appletini, I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Blue Curaco Cocunut Margarita (or whatever you were called) is my new favorite drink of all time, OF ALL TIME.
I made a video blog per request of a couple of people on house_cuddy about the first 2 mins of the finale (!!!) but it's telling me it's taking 2 hours to export so it will be awhile. FML. In all fairness, it's longer and I had to run it through Final Cut, which I don't normally do, BUT STILL. It'd be nice if they'd find a way to expedite this process. Or at least found a way to let me edit WHILE it was doing this. GODDAMN IT, TONIGHT WAS GOING TO BE EDITING NIGHT. BECAUSE I HAVE NO SOCIAL LIFE. AND I LIKE IT THAT WAY. OH! I just got a brill idea. I have both Final Cut Pro AND Final Cut Express SO I CAN JUST EDIT IN THE OTHER ONE. PROBLEM SOLVING. Lol, Mia is going to hate me for doing this to her, though. It's okay, bb girl, you can handle this and then some! ♥!
