Work yesterday, blah blah. I'm worried that I'll run out of work because I finally finished this huge pile of data input so now I have no idea what I'm going to do all day

HOLY CRAP. I WANT TO DO THIS. Please tell me you're still doing this in October and I will freaking WALK from LA (and yes I know that's far) to crash your class. Because honest to God this is beyond words.
OMGWTF. DON'T CRY LISS. TELL THIS LAZ THAT IF IT ENDS A CRAZED AUSTRALIAN WILL SET A DINGO ON HIS ARSE!! (and you have to say "arse" the way it's spelt or else I could be setting a Dingo on a Donkey, and that's just cruel!)
I agree fully with this! Don't cry liss, that'll make me sad.
And forensic_angel, I don't know if you meant to make anyone laugh, but the last part of your comment seriously made me crack up and it brightened the end of my day and will make me laugh whenever I think about it tomorrow!
I feel slightly bad for continuing to ruin the reputation of Dingoes, but for the sake of making my friend laugh I will ignore my slaughtered cultural background.
well, I've sadly never been to Australia, so technically, dingoes are not ruined for me. Not till I get to see one, anyway. *winks*
In any case, I'm all sorts of jealous that you get to live in the country that you do. I just...........I could go on and on and on. *sighs*
While we're in the process of partially hijacking this thread as it is (or rather I am, LOL), would you totally mind if I was to go ahead and add you on LJ as a friend? I saw that we have Doctor Who in common, though that is a more recent development on my end and has to be added to my interests. I also saw that you love to read and would love to talk books with you!
Dingoes are really quite gorgeous creatures. They are wild, but still... ♥
*sighs* It's hard being Aussie *goes to lay in the sun with a drink and a book*
HIJACKING FTW. I will totally add you back on that basis alone. But as you also mentioned Doctor Who then this is a definite thing happening right now. It's a recent thing though, are you only into new Who? Because you know I will take it upon myself personally to introduce you to the beginnings of Who and some of the greatest companions that ever lived? Seriously. I will do this. Chose you answer wisely. Some people are still trying to claw themselves free of my clutches.
And I'm always happy to talk books. And will be doing a lot of it in the next month. Because I start my Uni course at the end of May and as soon as my book pack arrives I'm going to be reading non stop.
:) Which is why I want to try to see one. Actually, I think I'd be satisfied with just being able to get to go TO Australia one day and just see the country itself.
LOL! I'm sure it is hard being one. *grins* then again, I love being a Floridian.
ROTFL! Hijacking a thread is something that I try not to make a habit out of, but it happens on occasion. *snickers* I'm happy to hear that you will most definitely be adding me back!
It's a recent thing though, are you only into new Who?
Wait, I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that you loving Who is new? If so, cool! *jumps on the bandwagon with you* If not...*still jumps* As far as me being into Who goes, my love of Who is rather new and fragile. A friend of mine from Australia who is into House as well meelsie-love78, she was the one who initially started talking to me about Who. She ranted about the last episode(s) of the last series and all that happened there and so on. Then a few people on my flist were ranting about it, so I was sitting at home this past saturday, and decided "to heck with
( ... )
*giggles* Floridian sounds funny. Like something from Star Wars. This amuses me greatly.
Now that was meant to say "IF it's a recent thing though..." but clearly I was too excited to include it. And so my question was regarding whether or not you are one of the people into the New series of Doctor Who wherein we have the Ninth, Tenth (and now) Eleventh Doctor and you acknowledge the beginning but don't see the point in watching them. Or are you one that is all "Oh this is cool, and woah it's been going since the 60's! I want to watch more!"?
PSST! we need to get Liss addicted to Who also! *whistles innocently**attempts reverse psychology* You know what, I don't think Liss could handle Who. Some people just can't hack it
( ... )
Believe me, once we've talked you will find the time to see classic Who. And then particularly when you get to the current season you will notice some epic references to the former regenerations. FTW. And HOLY CRAP you just said MOAR when talking about Doctor Who. You will fit in quite nicely, yes, you will indeed. Long running in-joke with some of my DW buddies that whenever they ask me what they need to do next I reply with "MOAR LIZ" who is one of my all time favourite companions. Yet sadly was ditched in the early 70's because she was too smart. [sarcasm]Yeah, check out the BBC being all with the role models for girls.[/sarcasm

as much fun and hilarious as hijacking this thread of Liss' is, might I suggest that we move elsewhere?
It seems to me like it'd be easier for both of us, at least myself, if we exchanged e-mails and just did it like that. OR if you use any kind of messenger, such as google chat, yahoo messenger, or AIM (I do use windows live but it likes to bitch at me), all of my stuff is on my profile, and personally, this is what I prefer, but that's me. The box for the comment thread is getting very tiny and our replies seem to be getting LONGER and LONGER! Not that I really object to that at all, tbh! *grins* it's just a royal pain trying to remember to reply to things said and the box is all tiny and blech.
I haz (sort of, if you consider it to be one) a surprise regarding DW and the episodes that have come out for the newest season. *grins*
I imagine Liss would appreciate it if we moved this little shindig elsewhere. However I think I might have missed you on MSN cos I left to have dinner. Fail.
