I absolutely adore the backstory she's created for Huddy and that dance scene was brilliant. It's funny how in order to reveal the truth about their past House and Cuddy first have to be in disguise. Time After Time was the perfect song choice for Huddy: just like in the song, these two never seem to be on the same page at the same time but they will always care for each other, turn to one another, help each other out: this time House is willing to give them a chance but Cuddy has moved on, unlike last season when Cuddy was the one who put herself out there only to be given a boob grab.
I agree with you on the Lucas observation. I really enjoyed the House/Lucas Lucas/Cuddy scenes last season so seeing him now, I, too, went: WTH happened to the PI guy? Sitting at that table in the diner, Lucas seemed to me out of place, like an intruder, the odd man out. Cuddy deserves so much better.
A drugged up, pants-less Wilson was a real treat. Btw is it a coincidence that he always seems to end up talking to Foreman when he's on drugs? :)
