OKAY, he's an English "artist", I guess. And basically he goes around Britain and graffitis random places with some controversial art, and some is just really clever. Some of it is absolutely beautiful, and I've been lucky enough to see one of his pieces of art in person. It was dark and hard to see, but I was there, lol. ♥
There are other really amazing pieces of art by him, like he made a Stonehenge out of portable toilets at Glastonbury festival in 2007 I think, he's just creative and pushes the boundaries of what people consider art or graffiti.
I'm so glad you love him, he's truly amazing. He's like, anonymous too. Nobody really knows who he is, and I love that. It's not about the recognition, he just wants to make art. He went into the Louvre once and hung up his own version of the Mona Lisa but with a smiley face over her face, and it caused this whole thing. Just, ugh. Amazing.
He has a website, and if you wanna see what else he's done apart from graffiti, he has some awesome drawings up there. http://www.banksy.co.uk
