MY MOM JUST CAME AND THREW TWO DAISY PETALS ON MY KEYBOARD - "WHAT DOES THIS REMIND YOU OF." *SCREAMS*
Last night we went to the bar downstairs because it was ~ladies night~ so I wore my new dress and we got free drinks and for the night I had "Pretty in Pink"s, which were like a Cosmo only BETTER. They made it up just for the thing, apparently, but I loved it. The singer was trying to get people to dance and no one was going and some woman at the table in front of us turned around and was like, "YOU GUYS ARE BEAUTIFUL! YOU HAVE TO GO UP THERE!!" So we stood up and the guy put both of his elbows out and ~escorted~ us to the dance floor lol. So we danced for a little bit, we were the only ones, and then finally people started getting up when they saw that it was FUN, OKAY. We eventually missed our drinks, lol, so we went to sit back down and this adorable man in a wheelchair goes, "Here, this is for you!" AND HANDS ME A ROSE THAT HE MADE OUT OF A NAPKIN. AND THEN HE GAVE ONE TO MY MOM TOO. IT WAS THE SWEETEST FUCKING THING OF MY LIFE.
Today I slept until 4pm LOLOL. Well, I would have gotten up at noon, but my skin was itching a little like it was sunburnt and I've been going out every day so I decided to take the day off from getting sun. So I just slept because I had nothing else to do anyway and I didn't care and it felt so damn good and I do not regret that decision. My mom came home and you guys, she loved your birthday messages. "YOUR FRIENDS MADE ME CRY!!" she says after she walks in the door. She printed everything off and then she went through and asked me who every single one you were if she didn't know you already. I told her she could reply to stuff and she said she's going to, either leave comments or just write something up for me to post but you totally made her day. So we talked about that and how much we love everyone, and then I wanted french fries really bad so we were going to go downstairs and get some and I told her I'd buy her a drink for her birthday. Because I can do that now. Can you tell I'm still not over being 21? Although I didn't get carded! What the helllll.
Then we went to her friend Lisa's again because her and her sister were going to make mah momma a birthday dinner. I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH YOU GUYS, I CAN'T EVEN. They are SO sweet and accommodating and helpful and nice and inviting and goddamn. They made this huge chicken thing and had this German wine and Lisa got her a cake, and god. AND THEN!!! Lisa's boyfriend, Frank? He's Cuban and I fucking love him and she informs us that he's driving all the way up from [some place I don't know or remember] to wish her a happy birthday. So he gets there, still in his scrubs (he's a vet), and he gives her this massive bouquet of flowers. It was SO sweet, fuck. And Lisa's son was there, and he's 6 and he was doing his little math homework and trying to add numbers, and then his uncle was like, "How come 9 + 0 = 9, but then 0 + 9 = 0?" LOLOL. "I don't know!" AND IT WAS SO CUTE, OKAY. And I asked him if he spoke Spanish and he said, "Si. But I'm only doing it for my dad!!" lol. But we had so much fun and OH MY GOD! Lisa's sister is doing my mom's laundry. My mom was going to just use her machine but she was all, "No, I'll do it!" and my mom kept telling her no and she says to her husband, "WILL YOU TELL HER?!" like she was being so unreasonable to want to do her own goddamn laundry lol. But god I cannot even believe how nice these people are. And Lisa, when we were leaving, she says to me, "And you have my number now, so if you need anything, anything at all, just let me know. And I'm not working now, so I have nothing to do." Cannot. Even. Why do we not have people like this back at home, it's so unfair.
