(no subject)
LOL GUYS, I TOTES DIDN'T HAVE YOGA TODAY. It doesn't start until the end of September. There were like 10 of us sitting outside the room for 15 minutes, bitching about how much our teacher sucked for not be there. And then when we went to the desk to bitch, the woman looked it up and told us it doesn't start for another month. LOLOL we died. So no yoga for me.
Then I had Abnormal Psychology and oh my god that professor made up for all of the hate I was having in the day. Love her love her love her! Love her to the point that I wrote her a thank you note and slipped it in her office box after class. "Thank you for being the way you are", and I told her that I had been having a horrible day dealing with people and incompetence and then I walk into her class and she completely makes up for it. I told her she had a fantastic disposition, a great sense of humor, and a real passion for and love of what she was teaching, and that I was really looking forward to the course. And then I signed that I was withholding my name because this was genuine, I wasn't doing it to suck up. But I fucking love her. AND THAT CLASS IS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME. IT IS LIKE, EVERYTHING I AM INTERESTED IN. Psychosis, hysteria, panic, schizophrenia, case studies, brain surgery, etc etc.
Then I had my meeting with Donaho and I got kind of lost because he moved, but when I found it OMG I AM GOING TO SPEND ALL OF MY TIME THERE. They have a whole new wing, and everything is brand new and there's a juice bar and a fuck ton of tables and huge lime couches and it's all so classy-looking compared to the rest of the building AND THERE IS NO ONE THERE. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS YET. And the only reason *I* even know about it is because I was summoned there for a personal independent thing. And there are windows fucking everywhere and it's my new favorite "fuck-you-all, I-need-private-space-in-public" place. And I am so excited for logic, his office is all hidden in this corner and it's new. And it was weird seeing him because his hair is longer. But we get along so well! And we kind of laid stuff out, I'm starting with Set Theory and moving onto a deeper look at Predicate Logic, and once I get that done (sometime around the middle of the term), he says he's going to "lay me out a buffet of Logic" and then "I can pick which dish or dishes I'd like." lol. And I get to go as fast or as slow as I want, but I plan on going super-speed because this is a fucking great opportunity and I'd like to learn as much from him as is humanly possible. I don't have to buy any books, he's making me photocopies of his. How nice is that.
My first class still fucking sucks though. As does the huge space I have in the middle of my day where Yoga is supposed to be.
