it's mrs peep!
So. I got literally like two hours of sleep before Randy called and then we made a 45 minute drive to his sister's. I LOVE HER. And her husband! He's from England and he's super cute and he's such a good father, I am so happy for her and they are adorable. He told me I'm only the second girl he's ever brought to meet any of his family. ♥ He and I played with the kids downstairs and GOD, I could probably stand to be a little less physically attracted to him in the first place, okay, but then I see how he is with kids and it just makes me want to jump him! He is so good with them and is always kissing them and picking them up and god. So we played with them in their ~play room~ while their mom made dinner, and then we ate and the little one-year old, she got spaghetti sauce ALL over her face and god I have forgotten how fucking messy children are.
After dinner, we all went outside because Jack wanted to show us his new "park", which is just a plastic slide thing in his backyard lol. Then Randy and I threw a football back and forth and guys, I am actually pretty decent at throwing a football. I really didn't expect to be, I never really have, but it was sweet. GOD and then baby Anna lost her shoe so Uncle Randy had to put it back on and he's just sitting on the grass with her, holding her and putting her shoe on and then he kissed her head and I fucking DIED, okay. We played a couples game of ~Bags~, they called it, this bean bag game, and we lost both times because we suck. I get so stupidly competitive sometimes.
Jenny & Roger went to the video store to get a movie for us, and while they were gone, we put the kids to bed. GOD. So Jack picked out a book and it was a book called Where Does God Live, lmao, so Randy looks at me and goes, "Hey Jack is there another book you want to read?" LOLOL SLDKJFHLKJADSF. "NO, I WANT THIS ONE." So he got up on the bed and the little guy curled up next to him and I was just going to sit somewhere but Randy patted his other side so we were all just laying together and he was in the middle reading books. ♥ ♥ ♥ Oh my god and then we fucking died of LOL because Jack pointed to some bird on the page and was like, "IT'S MRS. PEEP!!!1" and he thought he was just SO funny about it and that made ME laugh, which made him laugh MORE, and we were all just laughing our ASSES off for a good five minutes as he continued to yell "MRS. PEEP!" Then, then, when he could finally read again, he read something actually about Mrs. Peep and I fucking lost it because I honestly thought the kid was just making it up. But no, it was real, and that made it even funnier.
The kids went to bed and us four ate a fuck ton of licorice and watched Defiance, which I have mixed feelings about. It was one of those films that I felt had a lot of potential but they didn't do enough with it, or, rather, didn't focus enough on some of the things I felt they should have in order to have more of an effect on me, personally. But I will say that I thought there were a lot of beautiful shots and lol, lol, I love their use of foliage in that film. Jenny & Roger went to bed because they had to run a 5K today, so I attempted to teach Randy some Photoshop stuff for awhile. It was only mildly successful. Then we went downstairs and got in bed and lol I'm so sick of him needing to read magazines before bed kind of.
In the morning, Roger came at 7 to wake us up and it was so sweet, Randy got right up without complaining, ran his hands through my hair and told me I could keep sleeping. So I slept more and when I did finally wake up, it was to the sound of them all playing upstairs. ♥ I got dressed and went up and he was feeding them and brb dying again. THEN!!!! He had to change the baby's diaper, so he took her upstairs but he didn't know the baby monitor was on, on which I heard him talking to her. ♥ ♥ ♥ I took Jack to the bathroom later, and I thought he was just going to pee, but no, I heard him start pooping so I was like, "Uncle Randy, I think we're going #2 and I don't think Liss wants to deal with it." LOLLLL. So he did and he didn't even whine about it. Then poor bb girl was crying later and she ran to me and hugged my leg so I picked her up and was kind of bouncing her and he came over and started touching her hair and kissing her head, while I was still holding her, this adorableness right in front of my face.
We went home and I fell asleep in the car and then we fell asleep right when we got there lmao. I honestly have no idea how parents do this all day every day, I really don't. It probably didn't help that I haven't gotten any fucking sleep since Wednesday, but I suspect they don't really, either, so. UGH and I took a nap but got woken up by my phone. And now I'm going to Coley's to make dinner but she's tired too so we're just going to lay around.
