I had a House/Cuddy sex dream. And this is fascinating. Because if I could pick, this is how I'd like the inevitable sex episode to go. It started with our WORST NIGHTMARE - panning up to them in bed together. No visible sexings. I was horrified. I thought surely we'd get more than that. BUT THEN, it started going through the night, showing all the little details that led up to it. It worked backwards almost. It like went back in time and then showed a clock and he stayed later than he was supposed to and then she accidentally spilled so he took his shirt off and a ton of little stuff like that, it was almost along the same vein as All Things - "one wrong turn and we might not be sitting here together". It just showed all of the tiny little things that led to them finally having sex on this particular night, all the things that lined up. (also. there was a PERFECT fade, from the edge of his shirt to the bottom of her bedsheet, omg it looked SO cool) And then we saw the actual sexings. There were fucking GORGEOUS aerial shots and oh my god it was beautiful. They were under sheets and I remember one shot in particular where Lisa's leg was all extended to the side and it was so GORGEOUS and dance-like. And then there was another aerial shot that was closer and their heads were kind of in the bottom left corner and she was holding him and her arm was like around his head and she said, "Shh..." not as a "SHUT UP" kind of "shh" but a comforting kind of "shh". And then it ended on the same first shot we saw. It was brilliant. Please be real.
EDIT: GEMMA I GOT YOUR "NORMAL'S OVERRATED" SHIRT!!1 The FedEx guy just came and I was like, oh maybe it's my shirt! But then I opened the door and there were TWO packages from NBC Universal and then I saw you put your name in the "ship to" address and skldjhf asjklhfakjs. They came on the same day, how cute. AND OH MY GOD CUTE, THERES A PICTURE OF THE CAST IN IT, AND ON THE BACK IT SAYS:
Wearing this shirt won't eradicate mental illness. As far as we know. But then, we don't know very much. Jesse, for example, didn't know that Tashkent was the capital of Uzbekistan. And it absolutely is. So, on that principle, thank you for eradicating mental illness. With very best wishes, The Cast of House.
