His speech was beautiful, too. That's when it finally was hitting me, what a huge deal this was and what it means to have voted in this. And what really got me was when he started talking about that 106 year old woman, who was alive when women couldn't even vote, and THAT hadn't hit me yet, either. I obviously knew that there was a time when women weren't allowed to vote, but it hadn't been in the forefront of my mind lately and I AM a woman and I just got to VOTE for this. It was amazing.
AND YOU GUYS YOU GUYS, YESTERDAY (I didn't want to write about it then because I didn't want to jinx it) WE WENT TO GET BALLOONS TO RELEASE WHEN OBAMA AND BIDEN WON, AND THE GIRL AT THE STORE GAVE THEM TO US FOR FREE! We went to pay for them and she was like, "You know what, kids get balloons for free, and you guys are 'kids', so.... *gives to us*". slkdjfha it was the sweetest thing. When we went in there she was like, "What are you looking for?" because we couldn't decide on what color blue to get so we were like "LOL OBAMA/BIDEN COLOR" so she recced us a color and type of balloon and said she wanted to vote so bad but she was just a week too young! sad! BUT THAT WAS SO SWEET OF HER AND WE TOOK IT AS A VERY GOOD OMEN. And we let them go last night. ♥ It was so windy! "The winds of change", we called it.
[dream]LOL I was walking around my old high school and I found like, Andy's baby (he doesn't have one lol) and he asked me if I could watch him for either "3 hours or 24 hours" and I said yes. So I had the baby in the carrier and also this note on red paper, and okay, IN the carrier, it was like, full of water. And it was dark and it was like... baby soup, it was so fucked. But the water was there to keep the baby warm and I remember always freaking out that it'd drown, it was so fucked. So I was carrying it, and then I ran into Mr. Walker and he asked me if I needed help with "that trifecta" or "that triangle" or something. So I went to hand him the note, but decided to give him the baby instead. So he's carrying it and we're talking, and then we get to those tables in the bus lobby and sit down. And I was telling him about my classes and how I have them on Tuesdays and Thursdays, etc. Then I crossed my legs and I was, I guess, in my school uniform from like, fucking grade 6, and now there was a slit in it, and what the fuck. I think it was even half-lucid for half a second, it was fucked, seriously. And then Ali was there, and she was in her uniform too, and I ran up and hugged her and she kissed my face and then her ex-boyfriend Ben was there and he got jealous? What the fuck.[/dream]

Gemma: AHHH POPTART JUST ALMOST WENT UP MY NOSE!
We are going to Benihana tonight!
Ugh I have homework to do. We're watching "Master & Commander" in Film and I fucking hate it, thanks. But everything is so much easier to do now that the kiss has happened and the election has happened and I am so much more NOT FUCKING ANXIOUS AND ON EDGE ALL THE TIME.
