1 & 3. [zeta-jones] umbrella & [paula abdul] umbrella
I'M DOING THESE TOGETHER, okay, because I have the same things to say for both of them. I made the Catherine one, gentleflower made the Paula one. We have an obsession with rain, and in turn, umbrellas. SO! We also play this game where we pick 5 pictures of a person, and then we both icon them on our own, and then show each other and use them. So we obviously had to do umbrella pictures when we did Catherine and Paula. SO. That's these. ♥ ♥
2. [celine dion] what a feeling
What a Feeling is probably the single most meaningful song of my life for the ways it's connected to all of the people that I love. ♥ It was like that before I even found Celine. And then she said that the first English song she ever learned was What A Feeling and I bawled. Because my god, what are the odds this song would be connected to her, too. I then needed a Celine What a Feeling icon to match the Paula What a Feeling icon that I already had. Because, how do I explain this. I can't, I don't even know.
4. [house md] cuddy - heatwave
UM, CUDDY STRIPPING, HELLO. AND I REALLY LOVED ALL THE COLORS IN THIS. You know like, when you show heat on a monitor, how it shows up as colors? It felt like that. And the strip scene, after it happened, I was showering the next day and Black Velvet came into my head FOR NO REASON and that song is so sexy and idek. I ended up making a self-indulgent video of that scene to that song just because it was so damn hot to match up that way.
5. [lisa edelstein] gentle flower
I don't even get how she can be so beautiful. This isn't even a fucking photoshoot. It's a candid shot. With two other people in it. And those flowers just happened to be there in the background. And her hair just happened to be that fucking perfect. And she just happened to look that serene and beautiful. I just saw it, and I saw her, exactly like this. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and she's not even DOING anything.
& QUESTION: Is my writing too light for anyone to read? Because I can see it fine but my mom just told me it shows up so light on her work computer that she has to highlight it to read it. I think it's just her computer since no one else mentioned it and usually you guys mention when you can't read the text.
