Porn is...porn.

I would never be upset if a SO watched porn. I'd be glad that they had ways to please themselves outside of me. And it's not like they're having se with the people in the film, just watching them. I don't consider an SO watching a kissing scene cheating, so I wouldn't consider porn cheating either.

As for degradation...like you said, the woman is letting it be done, so as long as she's willingly partaking, that's her perogative. Not all porn is degrading to women, unless it is blatantly putting her down. Why does her being on film degrade her? Why does it not degrade a man?

I will never understand people's problems with porn. It's se. On film. For self-arousal or entertainment. Big. Fucking. Whoop.

ETA: Also, I forgot to add another thing that peeves me. Not just men watch porn. I know -plenty- of women who watch it, and I hate the conception that it's a male thing, because it's not, they just seem to get the bad rap for being overly-seual.

Porn is mostly incredibily unsexy. not to mention SO.FAKE. it's almost like watching a really cringy comedy.

Erotica is fine with me, really. But it's gotta be nicely done...y'know. Put some art to it. and plots, it needs a plot. Not just just a bunch of people humping the crap out of each other for no reason.

You know I never knew why porn was only degrading to women {imo i dont get how it is}
Men do act just as slutty as the women in them, the dress just as slutty, and they have the same slutty sexual innuendos?? But I guess just because women are the only ones seen as slutty due to the fact that there are more women prostitutes or strippers then men.

I dont really care about porn, if a boy wants to watch it then let them be. It's just a thing about men that I dont think no women will understand.

It's not that I hate porn because being degrading I just don't like it because for me it's the perfect opposite of sexy. I have no problem with guys watching porn though, because men and women are different on so many levels, if it's good for them, I'm OK with it.

see, and that's fine, there's a difference between not liking it personally and thinking it's bad for EVERYONE. and yeah if they want to watch it, im fine with it.

I don't think I would ever do a fuss about OMGNO MY BOYFRIEND WATCHES PORN, because seriously, most guys do. It's not a big deal. And I think it doesn't mean a guy how watches porn doesn't find her girlfriend sexy or is really dreaming about women in porn, it's just another kind of turn-on for him or soemthing like that.
It's not very likely I would watch it with him, but on his own or with his friends? I would be fine with it.

GUYS WILL BE GUYS. if they want to watch it, whatevs. i can understand some girls may see it as their guy has had to go to other resources to please themselves, but i couldn't care less. I've never had that experience, so i can't say a lot.

as for the degradation, whats the degrading part? to whom are we speaking of? the women choose to do what they do, as do we. its out choice and we should be respected for it, no matter what it is.

WELL they can please themselves without porn too, so I say we may as well let them watch it lol. either way, they can get off without us.

i have no idea how it's degrading, as i dont think it IS degrading
