misc filler entry because there is no fandom in my life
1 - My mom bought me a Photoshop magazine today. It was the cutest thing of my life. I was sleeping when she got home and she brought it in my room and she was reading it and it was so cute, she was so excited. "AND IT HAS BRUSHES FOR YOU AND FONTS AND EVERYTHING!!" ♥ ♥ ♥
2 - I posted a new Lisa Edelstein video. **IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HER OR UNDERSTAND WHY I LOVE HER SO MUCH, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH THIS ONE**. Because it is all of her crazy fun awesomeness and it shows just one of the many sides that I love about her. No, like, all of the moments in here I think have the potential to really show you why I love her. Because she is off-the-wall and balls out fearless.
3 - I watched Saw IV last night.
Storyline and everything else aside, I was absolutely DEAD of awesome at the editing. When they speed things up and add all those flashes and quick cuts and ksdhfksjdah. People just watch those and don't even think about or appreciate whoever had to sit and manually speed that shit up, or trim that clip down 10 frames to fit, or overlay those bright lights. It's only like a second on the film but it probably took HOURS. AND IT'S AMAZING! BUT WHAT IS EVEN MORE AMAZING - they did this REALLY cool thing, where like, a person from one scene would walk into another scene and if you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about. LIKE WHEN THE HAIR GIRL GOT PUSHED THROUGH THE MIRROR. And just like, disappeared out of the shot and it was suddenly the blue interrogation room. Like how the FUCK did that happen?! It was filled with tiny little mindfucks like that and I was so awed. Amazing. We also watched all the behind-the-scenes stuff and I was floored again at how much work goes into color correction. Like, they filmed this stuff in normal light and normal colors, and it's so weird to see how it's changed in the end. LOVE IT.
4 - SAG awards! No Lisa. :( Also, I am REALLY sick of the Sopranos. I thought they were done like, last year. BE DONE. But YAY for seeing The Office cast! They all looked so great, Jenna especially - THAT DRESS. I AM OBSESSED WITH IT. Debra Messing's also, holy shit. And Floyd Crow Westermann in the "people who died this year" montage. :( :( I got goosebumps when I saw him, I'm so glad they put him in there. IT'S SO WEIRD THAT HE'S DEAD. I LOVE HIM.
5 - I watched Randy Jackson's dance reality show tonight and LOVED IT. I want to dance so bad right now! They even had a team that did their entire routine on roller skates and it was SO badass. And this team with masks. sdkjfhas so cool, I love edgy different shit like that.
6 - I read spoilers about Paula Abdul's Superbowl thing and sdkjfhsdl! I AM SO EXCITED!! They say there's so much dancing and a marching band doing Forever Your Girl and sdkfjhsadkjhf!!! She is so hxc about her comeback. She mentioned finishing her album, too. And a tour. KNOCK. ON. WOOD. No really, she better have been serious because I will DIE HAPPY if that happens. And people on my f-list who hate her can just like, gtfo and ignore this because I LOVE HER and I AM EXCITED.
7 - I also watched Dreamland I & II with tenacious_err. I. LOVE. X-FILES. THE END. Spontaneous!viewing party ftw!
8 - Oh! And! Rock of Love 2. I love Bret Michaels. And the show is so LOL in general. And he took like 3 of them on a date to a strip club and they were dancing and HAHAHAHA. SOME OF THEM SUCKED SO BAD. And one of them took ALL of her clothes off, and then got yelled at by the owner because they don't have full nudity there LOL.
