SO. re: the writers strike. FUCK. ALL. So now they're saying that our big House/Cuddy post-Superbowl ep has been "scrapped". What the FUCK is that supposed to mean?? "scrapped" as in "LOL. BURN ON YOU GUYS, YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR SEX. EVER." or "scrapped" as in "well it's only scrapped in the sense that it's not airing immediately after the Superbowl, but we're still shooting it and you'll still get it" ??? I honestly do not even know the answer to this question. But it figures. When everything was going to line up for us, real life has to come and fuck it up. Why couldn't this shit have happened last year or next year or something. Like, what are the odds. I'm trying not to think about it TOO deeply because I will cry.
BUT UGH!! That night could have been SO fun, you guys!! Waking up that day and freaking out because you know it's coming that night. And like, not being able to eat dinner because you're so excited. AND THEN AND THEN, THE OPENING CREDITS COME ON. And you're ALREADY having a panic attack. This is like Airborne, Fetal Position, and Top Secret COMBINED and then multiplied by 10. THAT's the kind of shippy panic attack you're having. AND THEN. We get our first Cuddy scene of the night. And you just know. And you're so excited AND nervous that you just wanna throw up, but at the same time you've never felt better watching this show ever. And you're dying. And then it happens. It actually happens. And you are so in denial but so goddamn excited and you can't wait to talk about it and you can't wait to icon it and sldhfa and then the episode ends. And then you stay up for 5 hours with everyone in AIM and on LJ comment spamming everywhere and huge capital letters and keymashes and screaming. Shit, you might even take a drive that night so you can SCREAM in the car. And then, you can't sleep. You are just so high on fandom and dskfjhsa.

EDIT: GREAT. CUDDY IS LITERALLY *THE ONLY ONE* WHO IS NOT IN THE 4X10 PROMO SHOTS. THE ONLY ONE. CHASE, CAM, FOREMAN, WILSON, TAUB, 13, AND KUTNER ARE ALL THERE. SO IS THE PATIENT, EVEN. BUT NO CUDDY. and it's not just like all the normal promos she's not in. THIS SET OF PROMOS IS COMPLETELY STAGED. THEY'RE ALL STANDING IN FRONT OF A TREE SMILING. it's not like they just snapped 5 shots whilst filming and released them as promos. nuh-uh. Today is just a shitty fandom day.
