I had a date with Sir Hugh Laurie tonight. And by date, I mean I had dinner with The Gun Seller at the cutest soup/sandwich place in existence. And I read, and I laughed, and I am in love with him and his mind, basically. Anyway, that sounds like me. I have a major research paper due Friday that I haven't even started and a book report that is 2 days late already.

Not that I know of. He's never going to have time to write it because of House. He's also never going to get the chance to play Thomas Lang, had the movie gone past the pre-production stage. Yes, there was talk of turning it into a movie. No, I'm not sure if he would have played Lang, but if House keeps going the way it is, he's going to be too old by the time it goes into production. If it ever does.

Seriously, I don't thinkanyone has any idea just how much I love this character/book. JUST GUHHHHH......

I knew who you were talking about. So you liked The Gun Seller? It's on my to read list, but I haven't gotten to it yet. There's nothing wrong with going out by yourself and enjoying time with yourself. If you don't like your own company, then who else will?

I LOVE that Thoreau quote so much, because it's basically my motto. LOL. Nobody else understands why I love being by myself so much. Thoreau does. And that's enough for me. *nods*

What is The Gun Seller about, exactly? I keep hearing about it and I kind of want to read it (after I finish my Klosterman book that I'm in the middle of, and On the Road, and Wicked, and I want to re-read Catcher in the Rye. But after that! I would TOTALLY read it).

ENGLISH TEACHERS WITH BAD GRAMMAR/SPELLING PISS ME OFF SO HARD. Like hi, why did you become an English teacher.

Also I'm totally bummed we haven't hung out yet! Me being jobless was supposed to be fun. I've had stupid-ass bronchitis the whole time. And then yesterday I had a super bad reaction to my meds and kinda thought I was dying. Not good times.

But soon! We have to hang out SOON. We can go to Potbelly! And buy Cuddy pumps (or look at them and wish we could buy them) and things.

It's like... hmm I don't really know because I'm only on chapter 5, but it's written from Hugh Laurie's character's POV, and the character is just amazing in general, and he's an assassin. And there's all this mysterious shit going down. And that's as far as I've gotten. Oh and there's also this girl that he's totally going to fall in love with I think. AND DAMN IT I NEED TO FINISH WICKED.

OMG nooooo plz don't die.

BUT WE DO! maybe next weekend or sth. AND HAHA I CAN'T AFFORD DO ME PUMPS OR MUCH OF ANYTHING, ACTUALLY, SO WE CAN JUST LOOK IN THE WINDOWS. And Potbelly, how close are you to it?

Yes! Definitely very soon. Prolly the weekend after next, though, because I've got a lame-o family Halloween party to go to. Oh it's so dorky. We used to have a super-fun Christmas party (in which we played YANKEE SWAP. OR WHITE ELEPHANT. OR NASTY CHRISTMAS OR WTF-EVER IT'S CALLED. AND IT FUCKIN ROCKED) but then my autn just totally decided to discard that whole tradition and start having Halloween parties instead. Which is like 98% less awesome. I'll take pictures, hahaha.

And omg there's a Potbelly like literally a couple minutes from my house (OMG I just totally capitalized 'house'. Help.), in the Maplewood Mall. I'm pretty much right by everything in Maplewood LOL.

lol, i think as a rule you can only have one good english teacher in your life and the rest are retarded. last year omg. my teacher was soooo freaking amazing, i loved him, i miss him so much he was awesome. this year, this dude is such an idiot. i handed in a paper from 7th grade cause he's making us do the same shit, and he gave me a 100. it was a fucking 7th grade paper. it sucked. hes so stupid. but it's all good cause i'm getting like good grades, but hes an idiot. hes stupid. gah. stuppppid.
