Yeah, German is my mother tongue.
7 years?! I know German is a really difficult language for English speaking people. Sh*** grammar ;-)
Hey humor me and wriet something in German, hehe! (Can't be worse than my English, really)

Don't worry, the Roman Empire will grow: my colleagues come next! Place some random House calendar on your desk and people start asking about it :-) Works perfectly well so far.

Oh, I don't take the car, but the train, because my employer pays for the tickets, so it's nuch cheaper than taking the car.
Yeah, I've heard of Best Buy, I think they're even selling somewhere in Europe.

TUESDAYS ARE LOVE!!
It's funny that House airs on Tuesdays, too in Germany, but unfortunately we're always a year behind, grr! Season 3 just started here, so today Informed Consent aired for the first time.
I really hate this delay. And Lisa's German voice is so un-sexy compared to the real thing. Sometimes I cringe when she's speaking, urgh!!! It's all humorless, administrative, lacking any warmth, just wrong...

Unfortunately there's quite some time difference between the US and Germany (it's 05:36 am right now here), so I'd have to stay up the whole night to join all the fun, which isn't possible on work days. But I'll always read the "pre-posts" on house_cuddy and enjoy all the spoilers I can get. Then it's all about waiting till wednesday to try and catch the new episode somewhere in the www. But I try to join in the fun on lj anyway :-)

I'm sooo excited about S4 and all the spoilers already ...

I swear to god the only thing i remember off the top of my head is stuff like Guten Tag and I also remember Erdbeere (strawberry?). not even kidding. i couldnt even put together a sentence if you paid me. i bet if i refreshed it or got back into it, it'd come back to me, but... lol YEAH.

I WISH THEY HAD HOUSE BOBBLEHEAD (do you know what i mean by that>) DOLLS FOR YOUR DESK AT WORK. yesss get a calendar and perhaps a fun desktop or sth. baby steps... lol

OH SWEET! so it doesnt cost you anything extra except your time. :( i bet you get a lot of reading done though! or something.

AWWW NOES. that's not fair. god i hate time differences :(

IM SO PUMPED!

Guten Tag and Erdbeere (yes, that's strawberry)?!?
lololol, what a combination - talk about priorities ;-)
I think it's interesting to find out what words people remember of foreign languages.

Sorry, I don't know Bobblehead, but I have some great House calendar at my desk at work, but there's no private stuff on work PCs allowed, so no House wallpapers.
Sometimes colleagues come by and ask about my calender or tell me that they watched the show. So you can talk a little bit about it with them. But that's not nearly as fangirlish as lj, of course.
You're right, it sucks to not enjoy these things with friends in person, and sometimes it's scary how much you like people on LJ you don't know in reality.

Well, taking the train gives me lots of reading time. I bought Hugh Laurie's GUN SELLER and THE MEDICAL SCIENCE OF HOUSE for the next weeks and my mom got me two books from Stephen Fry for my birthday: THE LIAR and PAPERWEIGHT. I'm looking forward to reading them on the train :-).
Unfortunately books are very expensive over here, Harry Potter costs twice as much as in England, so I just bought the English version.

Now I really should catch up on some sleep I guess, no matter how much I love talking to you ♥♥♥
Yeah, damn time difference!!! But I love the new ticker at the official Fox House page, so now I will always know, when the REAL fun is going on :-)

lolol, yeah! such HOUSE/CUDDY BOBBLEHEADS would be freaking amazing. But I doubt that I'd get any work done with these on my desk. I'd probably permanently let their heads accidentally bump into each other in some sort of weird kiss ;-)
Thanks for the link!!!!

Looking forward to some future exchange ♥
