OHHHHHH. you are so completely right. i never even thought of that. i think i was looking for extreme possibilities. one thing i still am wondering about is why she had to mention that "lily's eyes were slits" when she got angry at snape once in that flashback
( ... )
LOL OH MY GOD. A METAPHOR THAT I CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND. That makes loads of sense, thank youuu.
Yeah, and that's why Harry stayed a normal-looking human. Albeit naked, but still. OH I GOT IT. I KNOW WHY HARRY GOT THE CHOICE. Because he had enough soul to do so. His soul was still full and complete, whereas Voldemort's was only 1/7th of what it should have been.
Ooh, I never thought that about the baby. I just thought it was a baby some mother had abandoned at King's Cross after birth, to die - that it was just a sad detail that had nothing directly to do with the story - that the baby just happened to be 'departing' at the same time, but there was nothing they could do to save or to send it back, because he/she didn't have any choice, like Harry.
Yeah, me neither. I was so confused when it was going on, but I think I finally figured it out when I was typing this up. I could, obviously, be wrong, but this just makes sense to me, and i think it's what she intended.

I'm not sure now where it's from or when, but I think it's at least a couple of years old.
