How long an hour can take, when you're staring into open space
LOL I HATE EYE CONTACTS. I have these ones that you can wear for a month, like sleep in and stuff, and the last time I put them in was the night before I left for Tennessee. :(. So like, May 23 or something. So it was a little overdue but I finally changed them and BOY WAS IT A STRUGGLE. If you guys could have seen me handle that, you would have died of lol. Lots of tissues and grasping my face in pain and dropping stuff and lol. It was terrible. BUT I DID IT AND NOW IM GOOD FOR ANOTHER MONTH. YESSS. it only took a fucking half hour to get them out and in again.
My and Rach and Molly are having Girls Night tonight. AKA pizza and daquiris and my Sex and The City DVDs. Also on the itinerary for tonight? Hey Paula. That will be very interesting... Rachel will ruin it for me, how much do you want to bet. Molly loves it, in all complete honesty. She discovered it on Bravo all by herself and watched it all day long the other day, so I know she won't be a problem. Rachel will be so judgmental and cynical and I'm praying to god we're drinking by then so that it will bother me less. lol. Whateverrr.
My mom asked me what kind of a souvenier I want from Vegas when she goes with Bob. Apparantly. IDK. I told her I didn't know, but when she saw it, she'd know. Since then I've decided to just get the DVD of Goblet of Fire instead. Yeah.
OH. And on the job front? My mom went out with a representative from work last night. And her boss, is best friends and business parters with this guy. And my mother, never missing the opportunity to be embarrassing and go on about how I love to edit and am pretty decent at it, mentions my habits to this woman. She asked to see my things!! So we're gonna send her some stuff to her, namely How To Save A Life because it's the most trailer-y thing I've got (and she also happens to watch House. so.). I also want to ask her where I can get footage of this guy's main show now, Shark, to see if I can cut a kickass trailer to send her way. My mom said she seemed really interested. So wish me luck on that! Maybe even just an internship. Anything. I'd love that.
