OKAY. so today...
1.) BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL MORNING. beautiful, emotional, extremely touching morning. ♥
2.) I fell asleep at around 11am. Listening to "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" - the House/Cuddy mix. Does anyone remember who made it? It's AMAZING and I need to go thank them again. Such a beautiful, relaxing, shippy mix to fall asleep to.
3.) My mom came home at 5:30 and woke me up. Asked me to go to a movie with her, her boyfriend and boss Bob, and his 18 year old daughter. I was actually considering it, until my dad invited me & my sister over. So we went over there.
AND PAULA ABDUL JEWELRY WAS ON. SO I WAS LIKE, SHIT. So i just put it on and made them all watch it. And my grandma (not the one I always talk about, the other one) is like a jewelry FREAK and so she was watching all intently. And she was all, "Oh god! There's Paula Abdul! Is this hers?! I didn't know she did jewelry!" and then we were in the kitchen dishing up dinner and i was like, not paying attention to the food because duh, and i was like, leaning past the wall to see the TV and she was like, "So, you like this jewelry, huh?....hmm..." and i was like YES KEEP THIS IN MIND. but she probably won't haha. I wish her and my dad didn't get on my nerves so much, and i wish my mom wouldnt keep trying to make me hate them both, because she's fun. She's like, the most crazy artistic person ive ever met. i wanted to take pictures of her house for you guys because it is SO colorful and cluttered and just full of random crap but it looks SO good. like there are flowers and apples and sheep and hanging things and fans and antique cameras and candles and mirrors and fountains and other stuff just EVERYWHERE. but it all WORKS. im so jealous.
And then my dad - being an asshole - decides its really funny to tease me about Paula's "drinking problem". So he keeps taking all these shots at her and i keep shooting him looks, and then eventually my grandma goes, "shut up, terry. she has a medical problem." and she was so serious. and i was like, "see? THANK you." and my dad goes, "you know what alyssa, i was dancing to paula abdul before you were BORN, bitch!" and i died of LOL. "yeah, i used to spin that shit..." because he was a DJ. and i was like OMG DAD DO YOU HAVE ANY. and he was like, "*shakes head* no..." DAMN. that would have been so fucking amazing.
OH and then! I told my grandma that I already had a bunch of her stuff and she was like, "really?!" and i was like, "OH IN FACT, I HAVE ONE OF HER NECKLACES IN MY PURSE!" so i showed her it and she goes, "oh oh oh! try putting it around your waist!" and IT TOTALLY FIT PERFECT AND LOOKED SO SWEET. so i was like omg yes.
Then a bunch of Anna Nicole shit was on so we watched that and theorized and talked about it all lol. Then we watched some random comedians on Comedy Central. funny shit. DURING ALL OF THIS THO, i was in paula abdul chat with sunspawn. And we were rather pissed because HI we had AMAZING questions and they kept letting the dumb ones through. like, bitches asking for item #s of necklaces and shit. UM HI GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND GO TO QVC.COM AND LOOK. YOU'RE RIGHT HERE ON THAT VERY WEBSITE RIGHT NOW ANYWAYS. GOD. Way to waste the woman's time... when i had SERIOUS good amazing questions. psht. ANYWAYS. she DID have some rly cute stuff to say, and sunspawn pretty much got the best of it, and you can read our favorite parts of that chat here at her journal. OH AND ON THE ACTUAL SHOW, SHE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HOW DANCERS ARE KNOWN TO BE *THE* CLUMSIEST PEOPLE, AND I JUST FREAKED OUT. BECAUSE IT IS SO TRUE AND I HAVE HAD THIS CONVERSATION WITH SO MANY PEOPLE. like idk, it just made me remember what a fabulous REAL dancer she is.
LOL THEN JACKASS WAS ON. and my dad and sister and i were just laughing SO freaking hard. i wish my family wasn't so complicated, because he is so cool. and all of our personalities would totally have so much FUN together. and him and my mom are such a beautiful couple. like visually. shit. and their senses of humor and stuff, god they were so FUN together. it really would have been nice to have that now that i'm older. like they dont even need to be 'together', id just like to hang out with them both at the same time and not have them hating each other or competing over something.
i wanted to stay and watch Viva La Bam because he is my favorite but my sister was like, "im tireddddd *whines*." so i was like w/e. and i wanted to get to my computer anyways lol. tomorrow... hmm idk what im doing tomorrow. avoiding coley who has not stopped bugging me tonight, probably.
