gillian, in apocrypha, when she comes face to face with the man who supposedly shot her sister, is SO SO amazing. she is so awesome. like, as a person, i think she's cool and stuff but im not all gaga about her like i am with other people *coughlisaorcatherinecough*, but her acting abilities are probably the best ive ever seen. she makes emotional extremes like an art form, she cries PERFECTLY, and is the master of the single tear roll. and then you see her in shit like House of Mirth and Playing by Heart and realize even further her awesomeness.
