(no subject)
I dreamt about House/Cuddy and it broke my heart. They were in a swimming pool, there wasn't really water in it I don't think. House was lying on the bottom of it and then Cuddy came and I hate to use the word "slithered" because it sounds so sinister but it wasn't and that's the only word I can think of to describe her fluid movement. She slithered to lay on House's back. I suppose it was the pool thing even though the water wasn't obvious. Anyway. Chase was also there and she was trying to explain to him how to take over. House's palm was flat against the pool floor and she ran her hand on top of his and laced their fingers together. He never said anything. I remember a BEAUTIFUL SHOT of the her left ring finger(print) pressed against the middle knuckle of his, to the point that I told Gemma about it later in the dream.
And my dream!self knew it was her last episode and in a way I'm thankful we never did have a heads up about it because I can't imagine dealing with that. I can't imagine going into an episode knowing, "hey, this is it". Just... tonally it just felt like a heavy cloud, it was so depressing and sad and now I'm both of those things and I just woke up.
I try to ignore it because it doesn't deserve the attention and energy but if I'm being honest I'm still really hurt, you guys. :(
