melissa!!! i added you back :) Wesleyan is a HELLA good school, I visited it last year (altho did not apply) and thoguht it was awesome. congrats on that. david appelbaum does go there tho. (i view that as a negative altho zach might think otherwise.) Do you know if you're going to be able to go to nationals yet?
Wesleyan did kinda turn David into a pothead, as far as I heard, and also this other girl (Ariel) that used to go to our school. I have heard there are a lot of drugs there in general, altho, that's kinda true with every school, and you just ahve to know who to hang out with. Other than that, I really liked Wesleyan when I visited... it seemed really chill and laid-back, not too east-coast-y, very liberal and politically active, pretty diverse ( or maybe that was just in comparison to all the other tiny liberal arts schools i was visiting !). my impressionw as that, its a kind of artsy school that has really good sciences as well. (this is why i did not apply... I have very little interest in either of those areas haha) Everybody I met there was cool tho (besides David.) You should definitley go visit it.
ack yeah i remember ariel. I was friends with her little sister for a bit and then realized I didnt like her lots either...Um. yeah. I dont like drugs or druggies too much. Good call. Focused on arts and sciences... yeah - not so much me either. O well - at least I have UPS to fall back on to. Thanks for your info! I really appreciate it. I'll only visit it if i end up going that way - but maybe i wont have to with your description of it. Thanks!!
